These records contain information gained from high-ranking members involved in the U.S. reconstruction efforts in Iraq. Information gained was known as "hard lessons". Contained in these records are interviews with high-ranking members of the Department of Defense, senior members of the U.S. State Department, United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the World Bank. Interviews state the interviewees personal and professionally opinion on the matter of U.S. involved reconstruction of Iraq. Interviews, emails and other records were used to publish the book "Hard Lessons: The Iraq Reconstruction Experience".
